Chris Dacus is walking 1,000 kilometers from the Pyrenees to Rome. He has had Parkinson’s Disease symptoms since 2006 and was diagnosed in 2011. Parkinson’s presents additional challenges to walking and just about everything else in life. Walking 1,000 kilometers is unheard of in the Parkinson’s community. Chris continues to challenge himself and be active by following a “Get Moving┬áPlan” that addresses the mental, physical, health and home environment in a holistic manner.

Chris is walking across Europe to inspire himself and hope in the Parkinson’s community. Below is a press kit with more information. Note that he speaks English and knows only basic travel phrases in French and Italian languages.
